On the topic of SEO Certification Training

About SEO Training and SEO certification:
"To be certified in any specific skill like 'search engine marketing' means that someone has had to have completed a "course of study" or training. Once completing a study course, they need to be examined and found competent that they understand and they have retained the skills they have learned.
A 'course of study' should not just be just any course of study, but it must come under the auspices of some recognized educational authority. With that, I would like to turn this conversation over to my partner in business, Robin Nobles. She is the very first person to ever develop a search engine training course to be both accepted and approved by the US educational system."
Comments by Robin Nobles on the Topic of SEO certification:
"There are many companies today that are offering courses of study in SEO or search engine marketing. However, there are a couple of considerations that I think are important to point out."
"Anyone can hang a sign on their virtual door stating that they're offering 'certification' in search engine optimization. But what does that really mean? Who is backing the certification?
"Our courses are backed by the United States educational system. All of our material, exams, and the education program itself has to be approved by the University. Our courses can even be taken for University CEUs. Our certification means something. We have a governing body looking over our shoulder."
"We have worked hard to ensure our students learn solid skills, and we expect that our SEO certification program will continue to be of high interest in the future and more important than ever, as business owners are seeking qualified talent."
Robin said, "Another question we feel students should ask is how the training firm they choose to learn from, is actually ranking in a competitive marketplace?"
This is essential because if a training organization cannot rank well for their own business, what is the value of their teaching methodologies, if they cannot demonstrate by example.
In closing the interview, Robin offered the following points you should consider when looking for a place where you gain a solid SEO training program and an SEO "certification of skills":
1. Choose a training course or a training organization that is already recognized and backed by an official educational authority.
Here are a few examples:
Search Engine Workshops
Search Engine Academy
Online SEO Training
All of these courses and workshops are recognized by the US Educational System.
2. Choose a training course based on some due diligence with other graduates. If they are benefiting from the course they studied and are happy with their results, chances are you will be too.
3. Choose a training course where they lead by example and are easily found for highly competitive terms.
We predict that true "SEO certification" and "re-certification" will become much more important to the business community and to everyone in the very near future.
