Excellent keyword window for video game repairs
Welcome to the KEI Observation Deck for Friday May 20.
Have you been struggling to find those higher KEI windows of opportunity? Here are a couple of fresh observations for you today.
Let's do a little quick review:
If your just new here, I'll just recap that here at the KEI Observation Deck, I regularly post keyword phrase combinations that have a Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI) of over 400, which usually constitutes a phrase which you can optimize conent for without too much stress. These high KEI values represent phrases that are really in use by the buying audience of online searchers, but at the same time, they are not too competitive. In other words, even if you are just starting out in SEO skills training, you should easily be able to compete and gain good exposure by working with these phrases.
The keyword research tool of choice by most experienced talent, is none other than Wordtracker.com.
According to Wordtracker a good phrase has a KEI of at least 100
An excellent phrase has a KEI of at least 400
Rule of thumb: The higher the KEI, the better the "window of opportunity" in general. Now KEI is really just a math equation and it's not perfect, but it is very powerful especially when you explore Wordtracker's awesome database with a little lateral thinking skills.
Wordtracker can in fact become your "window on the world" of peoples "searching behavior" in real time within the last 60 days.
How powerful is that? In a single word, it is extraordinary!
Of course it still only represents a small fraction of the searches that are being done in real time, but throughout the Wordtracker database, there are wonderful opportunities for those who have sharpened their lateral thinking skills. There are awesome "trends" and what I have come to recognize as "trails of pure gold" just laying about, waiting for the researcher to discover. The beauty is that many people are totally unaware of the possibilities and the power of researching "behavior." Many are off in a hunt for keywords (which is good too.) But a slight shift in the way you understand Wordtracker and the way you use it, opens up a whole new wondrous landscape of opportunity. If you need help on any of your search engine related skills, from keyword research to behavioral research, to the process of optimization and actually gaining those top ranks to improving the response, then consider registering for our hands-on SEO Mastery Workshop. It's coming up in just 3 weeks.

Okay, let's have a look at a few high KEI phrases for May 20:
The subject is video game repairs. First here is a very competitive example:
"xbox repairs" KEI 0.013
(Very competitive with at least 144,000 pages)
However, if we sprinkle in a little magic, here a a few more phrases that represent much better windows of opportunity:
"xbox game repairs" KEI 498.5
"ps2 disc repairs" KEI 3422.0
"repairs xbox disc" KEI 2360.1
"xbox disc repairs" KEI 2242.0
Pretty nice opportunities if you have some articles and quality content built around these subjects.
Okay, here are a couple other general observations not related to video games at all:
"bronze cabinet hinges offset" KEI 625.0
"fence wire splicer" KEI 576.0
I hope you enjoyed these examples. Drop by again soon for many more observations. Also, consider joining Robin Nobles and I in our upcoming Atlanta SEO Mastery Workshop for some very personalized skill building exercise.
