Exploring search behavior around "features"

Welcome to the KEI Observation Deck on Saturday Oct. 29, 2005.

Most SEOs think about "keyword research" as a hunt for the best keyword phrases to use in their Web pages for the purpose of optimization.

The top keyword research tool that has been used by SEO industry professionals is "Wordtracker." Wordtracker not only allows you to find those busy keywords, but ones with huge windows of opportunity.
These are keywords that are in fair to high use, but also have very low competition.

Just one of the techniques we teach our SEO Workshop students in our SEO hands-on workshops, is how you can go in and quickly extract the very best high performance keywords within just mere minutes (instead of spending hundreds of hours of research time.) I wrote a short guide called Wordtracker Magic, which has helped people understand the tremendous value of Wordtracker full membership and how you can actually go beyond keyword research and discover some excellent "search behaviors" of your ideal buying audience.

Okay, here on the KEI Observation Deck, I regularly publish a few observations for free. Check out a few high KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) phrases that I just extracted this morning in under four minutes around the interest
in the root word of "features."

"Rules of Editorial Column And Feature Writing" KEI 544.0

"Feature Stories in Japan" KEI 612.0

"first comic strip to feature someone being shot to death" KEI 640.6

"calling features unlimited pricing plans" KEI 1024.0

"Physical Features in the Northwest Highlands" KEI 1225.0

"Feature Syndicate of a Newspaper" KEI 1849.0

"Features And Functions of Utility Programs" KEI 3025.0

Do you want to explore top keywords related to your industry?

Just hop over to Wordtracker and join up so you can get into their full members area.

If you want to speed up your research, try a little magic!

Be sure to drop by again for more free KEI observations.

Wishing you the best of continued success!

Best regards,
John Alexander
