Excellent article on the true cost of content...by Gerry McGovern

Hello all,

Here is a well-delivered article - right on the mark.
Robin Nobles and I have been preaching this for a long time to our
students and readers.

It all centers around creating truly "high quality" content that merits genuine relevancy and satisfies the original search initiated by the searcher.

It's as though some people understand the term "unique content" and some understand the term "original content".....

But... when it comes to terms like "high quality content"
or "useful content" many just don't get it.

In it the article "The True Cost of Content," author, Gerry McGovern states....

"Most organizations realize that quality content is costly. What they don't understand is that poor quality content has an even greater cost. The true cost of content must also include the cost of attention and the cost of action."

"People are highly impatient on the Web. If there's one thing they absolutely detest it's a website that wastes their time. Poor quality filler content wastes time by taking attention away from killer web content."

You can read the article in full right here.

I hope this EXCELLENT article by Gerry McGovern is read by many.

Many thanks to SEO Advisor Matt Costello for
bringing it to my attention!
