Affiliate Marketers - Do you support pirate Pdf sites?
More KEI Observations coming soon.
But here is a question I would like to ask your opinion on?
How do affiliate marketers feel about pdf piracy? Would you support a Web site that pilfers other people's copyrighted work? I hope not.
Such subscription based web sites do exist and perhaps it's high time someone asked some questions. There are some hot comments recently posted at Search Engine Diva Blog, that begin by
asking the question:
"Could you imagine spending over 300 hours creating an ebook which would be part of what puts food on your table only to find out someone else was selling it and not paying you a dime?"
To read my response to this and the response of others, visit this Blog and let's hear the thoughts of affiliate marketers on this subject. Personally, I think it's only a matter of time before the culprit will be caught, but I'm interested in what affiliate marketers think (considering any such pirate site is also stealing your comissions too.)

What can affiliate marketing do for you?
In our last SEO Workshop in Seattle, we had a special visit by a master affiliate marketer and e-book author Michael Campbell.
It was a pleasure to have Michael drop by and share some great advice with the students. He is always so helpful and such a pleasure to work with.
Michael's newsletter is called Internet Marketing Secrets and it's free to join. In his weekly newsletters he reviews products, tools and shares many different types of strategies from A to Z.
Another very wise affiliate marketer who is at the very top of her class, is Ginette Degner. Ginette is one of those special folks who you are always learning something useful from (especially when it comes to affiliate marketing.) If you've ever met Ginette, you'll know what I mean when I describe her insights as very "high logic." By that I mean there is always the evidence of "true experience" behind her reasoning.
So the question you may be asking yourself is this:
"What can affiliate marketing do for you?"
According to Ginette, there are many benefits. Here is a quote I got from her new Blog called Search Engine Marketing Diva:
Ginette says:
"Direct linking affiliate relationships can boost your link popularity, branding, authoritative relevance and most of all build that coveted relationship with new customers."
I thoroughly agree. The smart approach is allways in relationship building and the Web is no different than real life. Build relationships and your customers will keep coming back to you for years to come.
But read Ginette's whole post and my advice is to keep an eye on this blog for some interesting tips and advice concerning affiliate marketing and gosh knows what else. But dollars to doughnuts (you'll find it interesting and useful!)
Another quick tip that I discovered from Ginette.
Does the word "Kolimbo" mean anything to you?
Okay, as in the Kolimbo Network. All I can tell you is that if you are an affiliate marketer looking for sharp resources, Kolimbo is the newest neighbor on the block. I'm watching and can't believe how quick they've been growing. You need to get in and check out some of their cool stuff for members and it's free to join too! ENJOY!
Drop by again for more keyword observations soon here on the deck!

UK keyword Observations from the KEI Observation Deck
UK keyword Observations from the KEI Observation Deck
I've often heard people say that there are no high KEI keywords relating to the United Kindom, since Wordtracker primarily focuses on the major US search engines.
One of the things you can do specifically when resaech UK terms is to pay close attention to spelling differences between US english and British English language. Here is an interesting comparison you can have a look at.
Let's have a look at a few fair to high KEI valued terms that probably might apply to the UK:
(Here are a few I snagged in about a 9 minute research session.)
"walking canes from united kingdom" KEI 1849.0
"teaching agencies in the united kingdom" KEI 361.0
"United Kingdom Shield" KEI 324.0
"license plate frame United Kingdom Union Jack flags" KEI 356.0
"united kingdom and england's governmental actions" KEI 225.0
"meals eaten in the United Kingdom" KEI 196.0
"Cheque clearing in United Kingdom" KEI 196.0
"pictures of united kingdom map" KEI 2209.0
"Jigsaw Puzzles United Kingdom" KEI 170.6
"white wedding trousers men uk" KEI 144.0
"Public school short trousers" KEI 320.3
"how to make sarong trousers" KEI 676.0
"AAA Prada Replica Handbags" KEI 660.5
"world holiday accommodation" KEI 399.0
"44 United Kingdom faith" KEI 11,881.0
"Cinemas in Chwilog" KEI 1089.0
"how to make bushera porridge" KEI 100.0
"how to make fermented porridges" KEI 256.0
"perspex manufactures" KEI 50.0
"perspex display uk" KEI 100.0
"Street Maps UK" KEI 89.0
"uk cheap tickets" KEI 306.0
"fabric dyes uk" KEI 738.0
"flower preservation uk" KEI 972.0
"dodge dealers in uk" KEI 1728.5
"remortgage quotes uk" KEI 8077.5
I agree that while the "pickins are few" don't tell me that they can't be found. There are some good ones in there.
Is your keyword research fatiguing you?
Are you spending too long researching and not finding enough gold?
Try applying a little magic!
Drop by again soon for more KEI keyword observations from the KEI Observation Deck. Greetings to all of our UK readers on your side of the pond. I wish you the very best in continued success for your online business!
