Astonishingly high KEI keyword Observations

Hi there,

Welcome to the KEI Observation Deck.

If you are having challenges with your keyword research and are convinced that are just NO great keyword phrases left (I hear this from new students of SEO from time to time) then there is good news for you. But let's talk about KEI first before I do a quick demo.

KEI - what does it mean?

KEI is simply a mathematical equation which Wordtracker uses which stands for "Keyword Effectiveness Index."

Rule of Thumb: The higher the KEI "value" is in theory, the bigger your window of opportunity is for a specific keyword phrase.

Example: Wordtracker says a KEI of 100 is a good phrase.
But a higher KEI for example KEI 400 is an excellent phrase.

In our live Search Engine Workshops I teach small groups of people my techniques for quickly tapping into the highest KEI values within just seconds using the "keyword forensics" skills to quickly uncover the hidden evidence that most Webmasters and marketers miss out on usually 99% of the time.

Here on the KEI Observation Deck, I like to simply dip into Wordtracker's Member area (which is loaded with trails of gold) that reveal your audience's search behavior within the last 90 days and I demonstrate how powerful keyword forensics is by publishing several examples of exact keyword phrase clusters based on the worlds search behavior. Okay, the ultimate objective is not to find just high KEI values, but to find useful niche phrases that have fair to high usage, but extremely low competition. This makes your optimization work so much easier by going after the long tail keywords.

Okay, I'm getting ready not to demonstrate how quickly I can find huge KEI values for specific keywords and completely eliminate the "guesswork." I have my timer set to time me how long it takes to pull up some astonsishingly high keyword phrases. Let's see how many cool observations I can make within a limit of just 5 minutes of research.

Here we go then......the topic I am choosing is "price."

"current prices on antique guns" KEI 185.0

"average price for diamond necklaces" KEI 363.0

"HP Laserjet C7115X print cartridge best price" KEI 385.0

"best inkjet paper prices" KEI 392.0

"men s bracelets for cheap prices" KEI 392.0

"compare prices for samsung camcorder battery" KEI 432.0

"antique motorcycle price list" KEI 552.3

antique compass prices KEI 576.0

"kenmore washer and dryer prices" KEI 600.0

"best prices on italian charm bracelet" KEI 648.0

"bamboo flooring discount prices" KEI 705.0

"best price on GE appliances" KEI 936.0

"truck tires low prices" KEI 705.0

"solar water heater price" KEI 1,013.0

prices of napkins KEI 1444.0

"price guide for antique clocks" KEI 1568.0

"price on antique victorian rocking chair" KEI 2,116.0

"cheap prices on italian gold bracelet" KEI 2,500.0

"price guides to antique dishes" KEI 2500.0

Okay, so my time is up and I could easily publish at least another 60 good keyword phrases with competition of under 5 competing pages based on Google.
