Keyword forensics observations around "support"

Hi and Welcome to the KEI Observation Deck.

Today I thought it might be fun to dip into Wordtracker for a few seconds just to randomly obvserve some recent audience search
behavior around the term "support."

The term "support" could be used in phrase clusters as a "device" or it could be used in context of a "support department."

Let's dive in and see if we can see any telling keyword phrases with high KEI (or Keyword Effectiveness Index) opportunities.

Here we go then....

"divorce support group directory" KEI 225.0

"pediatric on-call support" KEI 225.0

"toddler car seat neck support" KEI 294.0 (only 6 competing)

"video card shader support" KEI 324.0

"ergonomic computer wrist support" KEI 462.0 (only 4 competing)

"heated shoulder support" KEI 576.0 (only 1 competing)

"forex trading price action support and resistance" KEI 8712.0

There's loads more in there if you know how to bring it to the top.

Okay, some keyword research tips for you.....

The reason I say "keyword research" is because that is what people call it. But what really matters is learning to look beyond the hunt for keywords. We must realize that people are using the Internet as a tool for research based on the common conditions in their lives.

Of course we all need good keyword phrases in our optimization work, but what I am hinting at here is to look beyond the keyword hunt.

Look for phrases that have a story to tell or a trend to reveal.

But how can you find better keyword phrases?

Did you know that we often communicate differently when we speak to each other, than when we are writing an article or creating content.

Some of the simplest, plain, every day (even boring little phrases) and words we use when we dialog with each other, can open up amazing new possibilities for traffic.

Pay attention when your customers are talking to you and consider exactly, the words they use to speak to you. Try using some of those words as single "root" words to explore search behavior.

***It'll take you time to catch on to this tip because our brains our automatically attracted to the words we "think" sound important and we cannot see how some little acronym or boring sounding expression could ever help reveal anything. Don't miss the boat.
