Random High KEI keyword Observations 400 and higher
Hi There,
Are you looking for interesting keyword phrase clusters with high KEI values?
Welcome to the world of Wordtracker Magic.
It's John Alexander here ready to dig into Wordtracker's member area and see what types of high KEI phrases we can identify in the next 10 minutes.
KEI stands for Keyword Effectiveness Index.
A fair KEI value is said to be 100.
An excellent KEI value is said to be a phrase with KEI of 400.
Rule of thumb is, the higher that KEI value, the less stress you'll have optimizing for the specific phrase in that exact combination of words. Is this theory the truth? Absolutely.
Is it perfect ever time? Absolutely not. KEI is only a mathematical equation and nothing is ever perfect. However, let's see what we can find in just a few minutes...
Here we go...
Perhaps a few observations for Travel industry interests...
"vacation packages from kelowna to las vegas" KEI 262.0
"flights to las vegas from the bay area" KEI 266.0
"flights to las vegas from orlando" KEI 450.0
"helicopter flights from las vegas over grand canyon" KEI 460.0
"skybus from seattle washington" KEI 900.0
Okay now let's make some random observations...on just
about anything:
"Work From Home With No Upfront Investment" KEI 289.0
"adopt infant from poland" KEI 400.0
"Songs from Singing in the Rain" KEI 465.0
"transfer e-mail from one computer to another" KEI 480.5
"sickness in cats from fleas" KEI 512.0
"how gasoline is made from crude oil" KEI 576.0
"lawn repair torn turf from dog running" KEI 841.0
"Christian businesses from home" KEI 961.0
"print ads from 1950s" KEI 1024.0
"silver acrylic plates from china" KEI 1024.0
"Symbols from Guardian Angels" KEI 1513.0
"people running from godzilla" KEI 1523.0
"chocolate molds from Holland" KEI 1621.0
"Lessons Learned from Flying Geese" KEI 1764.0
"moving mail from Outlook to Entourage" KEI 3828.0
"Where Can I Listen to Songs from the 80's" KEI 6724.0
I'll stop here but there are a ton more thing to discover inside Wordtracker.
Have you read this article:

What's the next most powerful method next to SEO?
Greetings and welcome to the KEI Observation Deck.
We have more high altitude KEI keyword observations coming up very shortly from Wordtracker,
Someone asked me what I thought the next most powerful marketing method to traditional search marketing and SEO was. In my opinion, that would be working to build your dedicated list of permission based e-mail subscribers.
Some folks call it "building a list," but I like to think of it more as building "relationships."
Perhaps you are looking for a few tips on how to make your subscriber lists grow a little faster. The key is always in building good resources of original content that has some value for your customers.
Here are 10 Marketing Approaches to Double Your Subscriber List
just posted by Tracy Fredrychowski, an associate educator from our family of localized SEO Workshops.
Tracy teaches classes at the Search Engine Academy South Carolina.
More keyword observations will be posted shortly so drop by any time.
Highest regards,
John Alexander

Redefining longer tailed phrases with a single word
Hi All,
Welcome to the KEI Observation Deck.
Here we make random observations on fair to high KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) phrases by quickly spotting trends in Wordtracker's Member Area and posting them right here for you
to see.
Today, I'm going to show you how using or adding a single word within a keyword phrase can drastically reduce your competition count for good honest phrases.
A phrase with fair potential is said to have a KEI of 100.
A phrase with excellent potential is said to have a value of 400.
But let's dip in and find some unique phrases for much higher KEI than just 400.
Think about some of the common terms that are rather competitive such as these examples:
"Free resume online" has about 178,000 competing pages on Google.
Not that hard to attain top visibility for, but want a better phrase?
Try using:
"Build a Free Resume Online" which only currently has 8 competing pages and about 141 searches within the last 90 days. There are more searches because Wordtracker count number is only a fraction of a percentage of all searches.
By using a simple term like "build" we've just dumped a ton of competing pages by presenting a longer tailed phrase.
Let's try that again....
Let's say as part of your services you offer a free web site.
"free web site" has 62,800,000 competing pages on Google.
How on earth will you take your free web site tool or service with over 62 million competing pages? Sure it can be done, but you've got to work pretty hard and it's going to take some time.
Want to grab the right audience much quicker and easier?
Check this alternative out....
"Free Web Builder Program" 8 competing pages on Google for this exact phrase at the time of this post.
Okay, so the question is this.
How well are you researching your data to find the best phrases that will allow you the best windows of opportunity?
Read the following 15 tips to reduce your Wordtracker research from hundreds of ours to just a few minutes.
Okay, now lets see what else I can find in here using the example of the root word "build" in just a few minutes. Are you ready?
Here we go then...
"how to build a machine quilt frame" KEI 100.0
"Parts to Build a Lightsaber" KEI 113.8
"how to build concrete slab" KEI 121.0
"How much would it cost to build a hotel" KEI 192.2
"How to Build a Pet Door" KEI 232.0
"corner cabinet build plans" KEI 432.0
"build a roasting spit" KEI 441.0
"how to build a brick fountain" KEI 450.0
"How to Build an Icehouse" KEI 518.0
"Build a Submarine School Project KEI 578.0
"custom home builders new england" KEI 625.0
"New Home Sales for Builders" KEI 845.0
"Free Web Builder Program" KEI 1081.0
"Build a Free Resume Online" KEI 2485.0
"Build to Order Profit" KEI 13,030.0
I guess that's not bad for about 11 minutes of research time.
